Description

Skagway is a tiny town with a vast landscape best explored on two wheels! The Skagway Highlights E-Bike Tour will guide you through historic downtown Skagway and the stunning scenery surrounding it on state-of-the-art e-bikes. Your guide will lead you to all the best spots, regaling you with history along the way. You’ll also have the opportunity to pan for gold on this Skagway shore excursion! From Arctic Brotherhood Hall, gold panning, and the City Overlook, this tour is top of the list for Skagway things to do!

Meet your guide at the e-bike shop in downtown Skagway – just a short walk from the cruise ship terminal. You’ll learn how to confidently ride your e-bike, and be provided with helmets and visibility vests to ensure your safety throughout your journey. After, it’s time to embark on your Skagway shore excursion with your guide and small group to the historic waterfront. Your first stop brings you to Centennial Park, an unofficial gateway to the Skagway Historic District. Your guide will tell you about Skagway's origins and the Gold Rush Era! Here you can enjoy views of the White Pass vintage locomotive and rotary snowplow – don’t forget to take your camera!

Your guide will lead you down Broadway Street and share the history of turn-of-the-century structures, such as the Arctic Brotherhood Hall, The Golden North Hotel, and the White Pass Train Depot. Next, you’ll stop for a gold panning experience where you’ll have the chance to take an authentic piece of Alaska home with you. Afterward, you’ll hop back on your e-bikes and head off on a 10-minute ride to the Gold Rush Cemetery. Here, you’ll also have the opportunity to explore Lower Reid Falls, a beautiful waterfall hidden away behind the cemetery. Then, you’ll e-bike for 15 minutes toward the City Overlook to take in the truly incredible scenery surrounding you. After taking in the views of downtown Skagway and the Lynn Canal, your guide will lead you back to where you began.

The Skagway Highlights E-Bike Tour will leave you feeling refreshed by the ride and in awe of the sights. If you’re looking to explore Skagway and the Yukon beyond it, be sure to check out the White Pass Summit & City Tour!
