Description

With what many visitors regard as some of the most stunning scenery in the world, the historic route up White Pass Summit and into the pristine and wild Yukon Territory has been referred to often as one of the most gorgeous road trips in the world! It’s no surprise, then, that demand is high for this unique Skagway private tour! The Private Emerald Lake & Dogsledding Tour is similar to the Private Emerald Lake Tour, as it allows guests to explore in their very own private coach on the way toward the one-of-a-kind town of Carcross. In addition, however, this tour features a stop at a local dog mushers’ camp, where guests can learn about the sled dog life and even take a ride on a customized dog-driven cart! This exclusive tour, which totals 7 hours in length, carries guests past old-growth forest, glacier-covered mountains, clear-blue lakes, and glorious whitewater falls! What really sets it apart, though, is its customizable nature: your personal guide will make sure that your outing precisely matches your group’s needs, stopping whenever and wherever you’d like to explore in more depth! One of the premier Yukon tours from Skagway, this unique combo excursion has something for everyone!

This unique Skagway private tour begins with pick-up from whatever location best suits your group. Then your personal coach will head off to the 67-mile White Pass Route, a stunning byway that follows alongside the historic Yukon Railroad, for a day of intensely stunning sightseeing! History buffs rejoice: your coach will be following the very same route taken by hopeful Klondike gold-seekers in 1898! Your local guide will be on-deck to answer your questions as you stop off at Emerald Lake, the Southern Lakes region, or any other sites you have on the bucket list. Then, of course, for your visit to a real Alaskan mushers’ camp! You’ll get to play with the husky athletes (and their puppies!), take a rainforest ride on a custom wheeled dogsled, and hear edge-of-your-seat adventure tales from seasoned Iditarod mushers!

Then, in the adventure town of Carcross, you’ll have the chance to check out a one-of-a-kind outpost under the leadership of your knowledgeable guide. Moreover, with this custom Skagway private tour, you won’t be in any hurry to get back, so you’ll have the chance to take in heaps of scenery and history! This exclusive all-day excursion is limited to 11 people max, so, as for other Yukon tours from Skagway, bookings are recommended in advance. Also note that base price is for the entire group, rather than per person.
