Your Hovercraft Eco Adventure & Wildlife Viewing Tour begins directly from the dock with convenient loading onto the hovercraft just steps from the downtown cruise terminal. From here, you’ll board this unique vessel and cruise along the stunning shoreline of Ketchikan, taking in the city & the remote forested coast as you go. Your knowledgeable guide will keep an eye out for wildlife and share more about the flora and fauna of the Tongass National Rainforest.

The total duration of this activity is about 1.25 hours from start to finish. The meeting location will be just next to the Berth 3, which is conveniently situated near the downtown Ketchikan cruise ship dock. Folks who are docking at Ward Cove should plan on taking the shuttle downtown. Of course, you'll receive detailed meeting instructions and planning information in a confirmation email upon booking.

Your guides will meet you downtown by the cruise docks at Berth 3 to take you over to the hovercraft & walk you through safety information before your tour sets off.
Your tour kicks-off with a short narrated ride to a scenic beach on one of the small islands surrounding Ketchikan's Island of Revillagigedo.
At the beach, you'll have time to comb the shore, walk around the area, and take pictures with your fellow guests, the guides, and the hovercraft you arrived on.
From here, your Blackbird Hovercraft will explore the area looking for wildlife and passing by more remote Islands. You'll learn about the 20-inch "air-cushion" that makes this tour eco-friendly and experience as it coasts, before returning to Berth 3.
