Your exciting day of adventure on the Haines Bike, Hike, & Brew begins with bike fitting and orientation. If you're feeling up for it, you can even request an electronic bike for your ride! After you're all geared up and ready to go, your journey starts with a stunning 2-mile ride along the coast, keeping an eye out for seals and other wildlife! You'll arrive at the Battery Point trailhead for a 1.5-mile hike along the well-maintained trail through the rainforest. Your experienced guides share a wealth of knowledge with you about the area and the fascinating native plant species.

At the end of the trailhead, take in more sights at a secluded beach before biking along the waterfront to the Haines Brewing Company. What's Included

You will be provided with a bicycle and helmet and receive proper safety instructions from your guide. A rain jacket, rain pants, and fleece gloves will all be provided if necessary.

What are the physical requirements for this tour?
Participants must be at least 13 years old and 4’ 6” in height. You must be confident riding a bicycle with handbrakes, riding approximately 5 total miles and walking 2-3 miles on dirt trails.
How difficult is the bicycling component?
This is designed as a scenic tour as the bicycling component is rated as easy. The terrain is relatively flat with lots of stopping points at historic sites along the way. E-Bikes are also available for this tour. Guests can choose to use a Trek Verve+ 2 E-Bike.
How many people are on this tour?
Enjoy a small, intimate group experience with just a 1:8 guide to guest ratio.
What drinks are included?
Included with this excursion is three 5-oz. pours of locally crafted beer at the Haines Brewing Company. Root beer and tea are also available.
Where is the meeting location?
Detailed meeting instructions are provided on the tour voucher and confirmation email. For guests docking in Skagway, you must purchase a ferry ticket separately and account for the the time needed to reach Haines. You'll board the Haines Skagway Fast Ferry at the Small Boat Harbor, close to the cruise ship docks and adjacent to the Railroad Dock. Once in Haines (and for guests already in Haines), you'll meet at the bike shop which is 1 block from the end of the cruise and ferry pier.
What should I bring?
A valid ID is required at the brewery to consume alcohol. Sport shoes and layered clothing are recommended. Rain jacket, pants, and fleece gloves are provided. Helmets are required and provided.
